ESSEEMENT OF READING AND WRITING DIFFICULTIES:
It is carried out tests that allow comparing reading and writing skills with a reference population, considering what the expected performance should be for the age and school grade of the children. They examine which processes have issues (reading accuracy, access to vocabulary, reading fluency, etc.), analyzing the type of errors made. Evaluation tests designed from a cognitive perspective and based on scientific evidence.
INTERVENTION IN READING AND WRITING
Atenxia is an integrated treatment based on cognitive and multisensory research, affering various levels of intervention: phonemic, lexical-orthographic, morphological, and written composition. It utilizes repeated and intensive practice, a sequential and structured procedure, with the ability to correct errors and design tailored interventions. It starts from the child’s own performance, setting challenges and motivating them to improve in each session. It has a technological foundation based on artificial intelligence and machine learning.
EVALUATION OF ADHD
The evaluation for ADHD is based on an international consensus that establishes a series of criteria based on clinical data (DSM-5 and ICD-10). Atenxia references the three neurofunctional pathways relevant to the etiology of ADHD according to research:
1. Fronto-striatal circuit, associated with higher executive functions.
2. Fronto-cerebellar circuit, related to timing.
3. Fronto-striatal-amygdalar circuit, linked to emotions and motivation.
